Welcome to My Blog. My name is Matt Hayton and I have spent the last 12 years waiting – living what I call the “not yet life.” I’ll share more of my story in future posts.

But first I’d like to provide you with a couple of my goals for this blog:

• To encourage people to find & pursue their purpose, while waiting.
• To provide community for people who are in a season of waiting.

We all wait- from long lines at an amusement park and sitting in traffic (one of my least favorite types of waiting), to waiting in a hospital bed recovering from a tragic accident and, in my case, waiting while paying off $100,000+ in debt, from failed real estate investments, during the great recession.

As I continue to wait, I continue to find that I am not alone. Maybe you find yourself in the same boat. If so, then this blog is written with you in mind. And as we will find, you are in good company…

One last thing, I’d really like for this blog to be a conversation – not just me sharing my story, but you sharing yours, as well. Please share in the comments section and I will read every comment and respond as I am able.
